Fifty-fourth General Assembly <br /> <br />SENATE BILL NO. <br /> <br />195 <br /> <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br /> <br />AGRICULTURE, <br />NATURAL RESaURCfS & ffl[l!GY <br /> <br />BY SENATOR Glass, <br />. <br />also REPRESENTATIVE McInnis. <br /> <br />A BILL FOR AN ACT <br />CONCERNING RESOURCE CONSERVATION PROGRAMS rRG tU~ <br />LOCAL RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ENERGY AND WATER CONSERVATION <br />MEASURES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. <br /> <br /> <br />Bi 11 Summary <br /> <br />(Note: This summary applies to this bill as introduced <br />and does not necessarily reflect any amendments which may be <br />subsequently adopted.) <br /> <br />Authorizes municipalities, counties, and existing special <br />districts to lease or sell or enter into contracts with the <br />private sector for the lease or sale of heating and cooling <br />works, including renewable energy source property, electrical <br />generation works, and energy and water conservation works. <br />Authorizes municipalities, counties, and existing special <br />districts to administer the billing and collection of any <br />lease or loan payments for such utility works, to require <br />sellers, lessors, and installers of renewable energy source <br />property and energy or water conservation property to furnish <br />performance bond on a project, and to certify performance <br />standards of such property. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Be it enacted ~ the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />5 SECTION 1. 30-11-107 (1), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />6 1977 Repl. Vol., as amended, is amended BY THE ADDITION OF A <br />7 NEW PARAGRAPH to read: <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />30-11-107.
