(2) The Colorado water conservation board i's hereby
authorized to expend not more .than twenty-five thousand
dollars ($25,000) from the Colorado water conservation board
construction fund for the purposes of preparing a scooing
report.

SECTION 13. Castle pines test well analysis. To extend
the work previously authorized in Senate Bill 15-87, section
3, the Colorado water eonservation board is hereby authorized
to participate jointly with the federal geological survey and
to expend no more than thirty-three thousand seventy-seven
dollars' ($33,077) from the Colorado water eonservation board
construction fund in extension of the analysis to develop
specific yield findings,

SECTION 14. Elkhead Reservoir expansion. The Colorado
water conservation board.is hereby. authorized to grant no more
than one hundred thousand dollars (S100,OOO) from the Colorado
water conservation board construction fund to the Colorado
River water conservation district for engineering and design
work necessary for the enlargement of Elkhead Reservoir,
including, but not limited to, any necessary geotechnical
investigation, environmental assessment, and other necessary
analyses.

SECTION 15. Appropriation. (1) In addition to any other
appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys
in the Colorado .w~ter conservation board eonstruction fund not
otherwise appropriated, to the department of natural resources
for allocation to the water conservation board, for the f~seal
year beginning July I, 1992, the sum of one hundred thousand
dollars ($100,000) and 1.0 FTE, or so mueh thereof as.. may be
neeessary, for the implementation of section 10 (1) of thi~
aeL

(2) In addition to any other appropriation, there is
hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water
eonservation board construction fund not otherwise
appropriated, to the department of natural resourees for
allocation to the state engineer, for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1992, the sum of two hundred sixty-two
thousand dollars ($262,000) and 2.6 FTE, or so much thereof as
may.be necessary, for the implementation of section 10 (3) of
th i s' act.
