<br />1 ESTABLISHED BY THE STATE ENGINEER PURSUANT TO RULES PROMULGATED <br />2 BY THE STATE ENGINEER. THE FEES SHALL BE USED BY THE STATE <br />3 ENGINEER FOR THE PUBLISHING AND ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS FOR <br />4 PROCESSING THE APPLICATIONS, THE REVIEW OF THE ENGINEERING <br />5 REPORTS, AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE INTERRUPTIBLE WATER <br />6 SUPPLY AGREEMENTS, THE STATE ENGINEER SHALL TRANSMIT SUCH FEES <br />7 TO THE STATE TREASURER, WHO SHALL DEPOSIT THEM IN THE GROUND <br />8 WATER MANAGEMENT CASH FUND CREATED PURSUANT TO SECTION <br />9 37-80-111.5, <br />10 SECTION 2. 24-32-2104 (4), Colorado Revised Statutes, is <br />11 amended to read: <br />12 24-32-2104. The governor and disaster emergencies. (4) A <br />13 disaster emergency shall be declared by executive order or proclamation <br />14 of the governor if the governor finds a disaster has occurred or that this <br />15 occurrence or the threat thereof is imminent. The state of disaster <br />16 emergency shall continue until the governor finds that the threat of danger <br />17 has passed or that the disaster has been dealt with to the extent that <br />18 emergency conditions no longer exist and the governor terminates the <br />19 state of disaster emergency by executive order or proclamation, but no <br />20 state of disaster emergency may continue for longer than thirty days <br />21 unless renewed by the governor; EXCEPT THAT DISASTER EMERGENCIES <br />22 DECLARED DUE TO DROUGHT SHALL CONTINUE UNTIL THE END OF THE <br />23 CALENDAR YEAR IN WHICH THEY ARE DECLARED UNLESS EARLIER <br />24 TERMINATED BY THE GOVERNOR, The general assembly, by joint <br />25 resolution, may terminate a state of disaster emergency at any time, <br />26 Thereupon, the governor shaH issue an executive order or proclamation <br />27 ending the state of disaster emergency.
