RESERVOIR <br /> LAND <br /> 22I E.Kiowa Ave. Fort Morgan,CO 8070I (970)867-6586 <br /> January 18, 2017 <br /> Mr. Derek Johnson <br /> CWCB <br /> Via Email <br /> RE: Riverside loan extension <br /> Dear Derek, <br /> The Riverside Reservoir and Land Company is requesting an extension of the existing loan for <br /> an emergency spillway for the Riverside Reservoir. <br /> The project has been delayed due to property ownership issues and redesign of the spillway. <br /> The current plans have the structure located in a different place on the reservoir while enhancing <br /> the safety of the spillway. <br /> Plans have been submitted to Dam Safety and are in the approval process. We expect plan <br /> approval during 2017 and construction to follow when storage and weather conditions allow. <br /> The water level in the reservoir will need to be conducive for construction. Wather and <br /> seasonal factors will also be critical in order for the extensive construction are to be <br /> successfully revegetated.
