ogrAlovillw <br /> EAGLE RIVER! <br /> WATER & SANITATION <br /> DISTRICT <br /> January 15, 2018 <br /> Colorado Water Conservation Board <br /> Attn: Kevin Reidy and Ben Wade <br /> 1313 Sherman Street, Rm.721 <br /> Denver, CO 80203 <br /> RE:Status Report for the Eagle River Regional Water Efficiency Plan Project <br /> CWCB Purchase Order No. POGG1 PDAA 201700000824 <br /> Dear Mr. Reidy and Mr.Wade, <br /> The purpose of this letter is to provide a 75%project status report for the Regional Water Efficiency Plan being <br /> completed for the Eagle River Water and Sanitation District (District) and Upper Eagle Regional Water <br /> Authority(Authority).The scope of services being provided under the above-referenced grant is within the <br /> overall budget; however, additional services have been prepared upon request by the District that are being <br /> paid for separately.These additional services were related to completing more detailed historical demand <br /> analyses, developing an alternative plan format,and implementing expanded internal review procedures that <br /> increased the number of drafts. <br /> The project is on track with the revised schedule that was submitted with the mid-project status report,with <br /> completion projected in July 2018.The District will be requesting that Colorado Water Conservation Board <br /> (CWCB)staff complete their initial review between March 26 and April 20 with the objective of having the plan <br /> conditionally approved prior to commencing the public review process.The schedule is reattached hereto. <br /> Following is a summary of work completed since the mid-project status report dated November 13, 2017, <br /> which is organized according to the scope of work. <br /> 1. DRAFT WATER CONSERVATION PLAN <br /> • Completed assessment of potential water efficiency activities.Summarized priority programs selected <br /> for implementation,targeted towards specific customer classes. <br /> • Analyzed historical water use data and prepared related analyses of indoor and outdoor demands and <br /> water use per single-family equivalent. <br /> • Analyzed historical water savings and compared trends to savings observed in other areas of Colorado. <br /> • Developed implementation, monitoring, and benchmarking plan. <br /> • Analyzed potential water savings from implementation of the Regional Water Efficiency Plan and <br /> updated demand forecasts. <br /> • Prepared memorandum summarizing recommended methodologies for projecting water savings. <br /> • Prepared initial drafts of Water Efficiency Plan for review and feedback from internal staff. <br />
