United States or of any other instrument in writing either to the <br /> Association or the United States. The indebtedness against land <br /> of any stockholder, water user or land owner shall be in the amount <br /> and according to the terms of said contracts dated April 8, 1927, <br /> and August 4, 1931 , or of any other contract between the United <br /> States or the Association or of any subscription for stock to the <br /> Association or of any contract or water right application with the <br /> United States or of any other instrument in writing to the <br /> Association or the United States and/or in the amount and according <br /> to the terms of any assessment or assessments levied against his <br /> shares of stock. <br /> Section 5. Suit instituted after six months delinquency. <br /> Upon the failure of any stockholder, water user, land owner, <br /> '- water right applicant or contract holder to pay any indebtedness, <br /> levy or assessment mentioned in or provided for or referred to in <br /> these by-laws or in Articles of Incorporation or in said contracts <br /> dated April 8, 1927, and August 4, 1931, or of any other contract <br /> between the United States and the Association or in any <br /> subscription for stock to the Association or in any contract or <br /> water right application with the United States or in any other <br /> instrument in writing either to the Association or the United <br /> States as and when due it shall be the mandatory duty of the Board <br /> of Directors after said indebtedness, levy, assessment or payment <br /> has been delinquent six months (or earlier as provided in Section <br /> 1 of Article V of these by-laws) after the due date thereof to <br /> institute a suit on behalf of and in the name of the Association <br /> 13 <br /> I <br /> 67 <br />
