In the event the irrigable area specified in Article 8 <br /> 2 hereof is increased subsequent to the execution of this contract <br /> 3 by the addition of any land subscribed to the Association, by <br /> reclassification of land, or otherwise, the indebtedness of the <br /> 5 Association to the United States will be increased€at the rate ,of <br /> 6 ?551,98 per •acre of land'so added., <br /> ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS <br /> 7 12. The adjusted indebtedness fixed in Article 11 hereof shall be <br /> 8 payable in installments of`$60,000.00 each year, which installments`are <br /> 9 subject to being increased or decreased as provided in Article 13 hereof. <br /> 10 One-half of each such installment shall be payable on May 1 and one-half <br /> 11 on August 1 of each year commencing on the first day of May 1950, and <br /> 12 shall continue to be payable on the same dates of each year thereafter <br /> 13 until said indebtedness is paid in full except that if the last payment <br /> 11.E would exceed the amount necessary to pay the said indebtedness in full <br /> 15 such last payment shall be appropriately reduced to an amount not to <br /> 16 exceed that which is sufficient to pay in full said indebtedness; Pro- <br /> 17 vided, that payments made in accordance with the provisions hereof shall <br /> 18 be applicable to the calendar year preceding the year in which payments <br /> 19 are due and payable. <br /> ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS TO EE SUBJECT TO INCREASE OR DECREASE <br /> 20 13. Then the Association so elects, the election to be evidenced by <br /> 21 a proper resolution of its Board of Directors delivered to the Secretary <br /> 22 on or before January 1 of the year for which the election is to be effec- <br /> 23 tive, the annual installment for that year, payable by the Association to <br /> 6 <br /> 81 <br />
