1 All as shown in the "Report on Reclassification of Lands, Uncompahgre <br /> 2 Project, Colorado" dated June 1948, a copy of which report marked <br /> 3 Exhibit A is attached to this contract and by reference is iroor- <br /> 4 porated in this contract. <br /> 5 9. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and dependent <br /> 6 stipulations and covenants herein contained, it is hereby mutually agreed <br /> 7 by and between the parties hereto as follows: <br /> GOVERNMENT-ASSOCIATION OnNTRA.CT SUPERSEDED <br /> 8 10. This contract supersedes the Government-Association contract <br /> 9 described in Article 3 hereof. <br /> INDEBTEDNESS OF ASSOCIATION <br /> 10 11. a. The indebtedness of the Association t7 the United States <br /> 11 as adjusted by this contract is Five Million Nine Hundred Fifty- <br /> 12 seven Thousand, Nine Hundred Twelve and 95/100 Dollars ($5,957,912.95). <br /> 13 This indebtedness is a general obligation of the Association. The <br /> 14 adjusted indebtedness of $5,957,912.95 which the Association is to <br /> 15 repay to the United States is established by deducting from the pre- <br /> 16 sent indebtedness of 7,692,329.61, under the Government-Association <br /> 17 contract as stated in Article 5 hereof, the following amounts: <br /> 18 (1) $1,122,871.96, being the charge-off on 21,602.0 acres <br /> 19 of Class 6 lend as reclassified at $51.98 per acre under the <br /> 20 authority of the Omnibus Adjustment Act, as stated in Article 8 <br /> 21 hereof, and <br /> 22 (2) $611,544.70 hereby charged off on 11,765.0 acres of <br /> 23 Class 6 land at $51.98 per acre, as stated in Article 8 hereof. <br /> 24 b. No charge-off is made for the 3,034.5 aeres of land in rights- <br /> 25 <br /> of-way listed in Article 8 hereof. <br /> 5 <br /> 80 <br />
