RE: Oak Creek Flood Mitigation Feasibility Study CWCB Deputy Director
Dear Mr. Piltingsrud:
I am pleased to inform you that on November 14,2007,the Colorado Water Conservation Board(CWCB)
approved the amendment to your Non-Reimbursable Project Investment application which will be recommended
to the General Assembly for final approval.Your grant will be included in the 2008 Water Project Construction
Bill.If approved, funds will be available when the Governor has signed the bill and a new contract is
executed.The approval is for$167,000 for project costs related to the Feasibility Study.I have attached a copy of
the updated Board memo that includes the Board's approval.
Vaughn McWilliams will initiate the contracting process for this project and when all contract conditions are met
and a contract is executed the City may request funds to cover eligible project expenses.
