Dear Mike; It has been brought to my attention that the Loloff Lateral Ditch Co. is going to be short of funds, for the pipeline project. We currently have the pipeline project, Contract Encumbrance # C153616. We currently have a contrast with you for financing on this project. So at this time w= are requesting additional funds from you. The shortage of funds has been caused by several thins. 1. ) Originally the Loloff Lateral Ditch Co. was led to believe they could get $72,500. 00 in government grant mone from the ASCS. Unfortunately recently we have found out t at this is not the case. Each member in the ditch co. will receive $ 5040 per share in grant money, but there is a limitation of $ 10, 000 per share holder. This limitation makes some of our shares not qualify for grant money becau-e some share holders, hold more than 2 shares in the ditch c. . 2. ) The cost of the PVC pipe we plan to use in this projec■ has increased between 15 and 20% in the last 2 years (two years being the time in which we first applied) . This makes the cost of the 18" pipe approximately $18.50 per linear f.ot the 15" pipe approximately $11.00 and the 10" pipe approximately $5. 00. These figures are based on 18% (The average of 15 and 20%) increase. This increase has been verified by Rosanna at the Greeley SCS office, she called Diamond Plastics and got this information from Mr. Hestor. 3 . ) There is also one other issue we feel needs to be take APPENDIX A
