I TREASURER SHALL DEDUCT ONE MILLION DOLLARS FROM THE RESERVED
2 RIGHTS LITIGATION FUND AND TRANSFER SUCH SUM TO THE CAPITAL
3 ACCOUNT OF THE SPECIES CONSERVATION TRUST FUND CREATED IN
4 SECTION 24- 33- 111(2), C.R.S.
5 SECTION 5. 37 -60 -122.2 (2), Colorado Revised Statutes, is
6 amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW PARAGRAPH to read:
7 37 -60- 122.2. Fish and wildlife resources - legislative
8 declaration - fish and wildlife resources account.
9 (2) (f) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION OF PARAGRAPH (a) OF THIS
10 SUBSECTION (2) TO THE CONTRARY, ON JULY 1, 1998, THE STATE
11 TREASURER SHALL DEDUCT ONE MILLION DOLLARS FROM THE FISH AND
12 WILDLIFE RESOURCES ACCOUNT IN THE COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION
13 BOARD CONSTRUCTION FUND AND TRANSFER SUCH SUM TO THE OPERATION
14 AND MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT OF THE SPECIES CONSERVATION TRUST FUND
15 CREATED IN SECTION 24- 33- 111(2), C.R.S.
16 SECTION 6. 24 -75 -302 (2) (k), Colorado Revised Statutes, is
17 amended to read:
18 24-75 -302. Capital construction fund - capital assessment fees
19 - calculation. (2) As of July 1, 1988, and July 1 of each year thereafter
20 through July 1, 2001, a sum as specified in this subsection (2) shall accrue
21 to the capital construction fund. The state treasurer and the controller
22 shall transfer such sum out of the general fund and into the capital
23 construction fund as moneys become available in the general fund during
24 the fiscal year beginning on said July 1. Transfers between funds
25 pursuant to this subsection (2) shall not be deemed to be appropriations
26 subject to the limitations of section 24- 75- 201.1. The amount which shall
27 accrue pursuant to this subsection (2) shall be as follows:
28 (k) On July 1, 1998, fifty million dollars plus three hundred
29 sixteen thousand six hundred thirty -five dollars pursuant to H.B. 97 -1186,
30 enacted at the first regular session of the sixty -first general assembly PLUS
31 FIVE MILLION ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS PURSUANT TO H.B.
32 98 -1006, ENACTED AT THE SECOND REGULAR SESSION OF THE SIXTY -FIRST
33 GENERAL ASSEMBLY;%
