Platte River, Nebraska, and any other programs designed to meet <br />state obligations pursuant to the federal "Endangered Species Act <br />of 1973 "; <br />• Certain programs established or approved by the division of <br />wildlife. <br />Allows the Colorado water conservation board to accept grants and <br />donations for the species conservation trust fund. <br />Appropriates moneys from the general fund to the species <br />conservation trust fund. <br />1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br />2 SECTION 1. Article 33 of title 24, Colorado Revised Statutes, is <br />3 amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION to read: <br />4 24 -33 -111. <br />Conservation <br />of native species - fund <br />created. <br />5 (1) Legislative <br />declaration. <br />THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY <br />HEREBY <br />7# THREATENED OR ENDANGERED UNDER STATE OR <br />8 FEDERAL LAW, OR ARE CANDIDATE SPECIES OR ARE LIKELY TO BECOME <br />9 CANDIDATE SPECIES AS DETERMINED BY THE UNITED STATES FISH AND <br />10 WILDLIFE SEE + >s:#SEIz >ES7E:: <br />11 RPMMM THAT THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br />12 AND THE DMSION OF WILDLIFE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, <br />13 IMPLEMENTATION, OR APPROVAL OF APPROPRIATE PROGRAMS TO ADDRESS <br />14 THE CONSERVATION OF SUCH SPECIES FOR COMPLYING WITH THE <br />15 "FEDERAL MANDATES ACT" ARTICLE 78 OF THIS TITLE AND FOR <br />16 NEGOTIATING AGREEMENTS WITH FEDERAL AGENCIES AND OTHER STATES <br />17 TO AVOID REGULATORY CONFLICTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 24 -33 -103. <br />18 (2) Species conservation trust fund - creation.
