For this project, CRC will
partner with the St Vrain Valley School District in the South Platte Basin to perform
indoor and outdoor water assessments for 20 of the highest water using schools within
the district. This project
will also provide educational lessons for students in each school on water conservation
concepts and methods. CRC estimates the potential water savings could be up to 2.9
million gallons per year based on their estimation of WaterSense fixtures that would
be installed in the schools.
The total cost of the project is $88,982.
