Delinquent Repayments and Requests for Deferrals
a. Town of Starkville
Payment was due on June 1, 1984. The check was received on
September 5, 1984.
b. Sedgwick-Sand Draws
The staff has explored the matter further as directed and
reports as follows:
1. The entity does not have to make payments to the state
for the second contract (Phase II of the project) until
the entire .project is completed, but it does have to
make payments for the first contract (Phase I) of
$1, 206.48 per year.
2. The first payment under the first contract was due on
July 1, 1983, and was paid in May, 1984.
3. The second payment was due on July 1 , 1984. A check has
been delivered to Herb Vandemoer.
c . Town of Larkspur
The Town of Larkspur has sent the attached letter requesting
a one-year deferral of payment due to the extra money they have
to spend to correct the problem created by the landslide on the
site. The staff recommends that the Board agree to the deferral,
provided the town agrees to include in their last payment
accumulated interest for the money deferred (the existing
contract to be amended accordingly) .
