R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, a report entitled "Flood Insurance Study,
Weld County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas and Town of Eaton,
Colorado, " which includes floodplain information and data for the
South Platte River, the U. S. Highway 34 Levee Overflow Channel,
the Cache la Poudre River, Sheep Draw, Eaton Draw, the Tri-Area
Drainageway and the Tri-Area Drainageway Overflow Channel, dated
December, 1980, has been prepared by Gingery Associates, Inc. ,
under contract with the Federal Insurance Administration; and
WHEREAS, said report describes and outlines the floodplain
data and information for the storm and floodwater runoff channels
or basins of the study area; and
WHEREAS, said report includes flood-prone areas (Zone A) ,
which are approximate 100-year floodplains for the following streams :
