floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1) (c) , Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdic- tions ; and WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood (intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated August, 1979, and further recommends that the floodplain designation as approved by the previous resolution adopted be rescinded; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED b y the Colorado Water Conserva- tion Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 30th day of January, 1980, that it does hereby rescind Resolution Number 37, adopted December 4, 1974, and does hereby designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being inundated by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated August, 1979; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, the City and County of Denver, the City of Lakewood, and the Federal Insurance Administration. C E R T I F I C A T E I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Denver, Colorado, on the 30th day of January, 1980, at which a quorum was present.
