Mr . Wright moved, seconded by Ms . Sanfilippo, that the <br /> agenda be approved with the changes noted. The motion was <br /> adopted unanimously. <br /> Item 3 - Approval of Minutes, July 1985 and September 1985 <br /> Meetings <br /> Mr . McDonald stated that draft copies of the minutes for the <br /> two above-mentioned meetings were in the Board folders for review <br /> and comment. <br /> Mr . Smith moved, seconded by Mr . Wright that the draft <br /> minutes of July 1985 and September 1985 Board meetings be <br /> approved subject to editorial corrections by the Secretary as <br /> deemed appropriate. The motion was adopted unanimously. <br /> Item 4 - Director ' s Report <br /> Mr . McDonald reported on the following items : <br /> 1 . Status of Construction Progress on Bureau of Reclamation <br /> Projects namely Dallas Creek, Dolores and Closed Basin <br /> Mr . McDonald noted that the Rio Grande Water Conserva- <br /> tion District held a dedication ceremony for the Closed Basin <br /> Project at Alamosa, Colorado, on October 19, 1985 . As part of <br /> the ceremonies, the conveyance channel, the feature which will <br /> deliver project water to the Rio Grande, was named the Franklin <br /> Eddy Canal in honor of Franklin Eddy who served as Project <br /> Manager for the District from 1970 to 1981. <br /> - 2 - <br />
