1 ) The Plan of Study was apparently developed without <br /> input from the states. Most of the parameters being <br /> evaluated are critical to determination of 602 (a) <br /> storage. <br /> 2) The study results will not be available for review and <br /> comment until a draft is completed in November 1984. <br /> There will be only 3 months for review, comment and <br /> finalization of the report. This is completely <br /> inadequate for the state' s review and comment. <br /> The following recommendation should be made to the Bureau: <br /> The 7-Basin states need to be involved in the study <br /> while it is being prepared . This can be accomplished <br /> by periodic meetings with the Bureau to review the <br /> input data, the Alternates to be studied and the <br /> preliminary results of the study prior to the November <br /> 1 , 1984 release.
