Proposed Legislative Language for Approval of the
Stagecoach Reservoir Site Development Plan
Section Approval of site development plan for the
Stagecoach Reservoir Project. (1) Approval is hereby given to
the site development plan for the Stagecoach Reservoir Project as
set forth in the report entitled "Recommended Site Development
Plan for the Stagecoach Reservoir Project" submitted by the
Colorado water conservation board to the general assembly and
dated March 15 , 1984.
(2 ) The Colorado water conservation board shall not enter
into a contract for the design and construction of the
Stagecoach Reservoir Project with the Upper Yampa Water
Conservancy District unless the District agrees in said contract
that it will implement the approved site development plan for the
project and will provide for the annual operation and maintenance
of all lands and facilities included in the site development plan
at no expense to the Colorado water conservation board and in a
manner satisfactory to the Colorado water conservation board.
