This segment can be <br /> located on the Eldorado Springs and Louisville U. S.G. S. <br /> quadrangles. For purposes of the instream flows as are <br /> required to preserve the natural environment from October 1 <br /> to April 30, the natural stream has been divided into two <br /> segments. Segment 1 starts at the upstream terminus identi - <br /> fied above and ends at the United States Geological Survey <br /> ( J. 5.6. S. ) gauge on South Boulder Creek near Eldorado Springs , <br /> Colorado identified as No. 06729500 located in the SE/4, <br /> sec. 26, T1S, R71W, Boulder County, 1 mile west of Eldorado <br /> Springs. Segment 2 starts at the U.S.G.S. gauge identified <br /> above and ends at the downstream terminus identified above . <br /> 4. Date of initiation of aggrogriation : December <br /> 2, 1980. <br /> 5. Amount of water claimed: (S - May 1 through Sep- <br /> tember 30; W - October 1 through April 30 ) . Flow in c.f.s : <br /> Segment 1 : S-15 c.f.s. W-6 c. f.s. Segment 2 : S-15 c. f.s <br /> w-2 c.f.s. <br /> 6. Use of water: To maintain such instream flows <br /> as are required to preserve the natural environment to a <br /> reasonable degree pursuant to C .R.S. 1973, 37-92-102 and <br /> 103. The amount of water claimed in segment 2 during the <br /> winter is les.s than that required to preserve the natural <br /> environment to a reasonable degree, but represents the amount <br /> of water available for appropriation.
