WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106( 1 ) (c) , Colorado Revised Statutes <br /> 1973, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate <br /> and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to <br /> make such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br /> jurisdictions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised <br /> information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado <br /> Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as <br /> floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood <br /> ( intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater <br /> surface elevations and profiles in said new report, and further <br /> recommends that the floodplain designation for Boulder Creek as <br /> approved by resolution No. 111, adopted July 11, 1978, be <br /> rescinded; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br /> vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br /> this 5th day of May, 1983 , that it does hereby designate and <br /> approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being <br /> inundated by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater <br /> surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated <br /> January, 1983 , and does hereby rescind that said portion of <br /> resolution No. 111, dated July 11 , 1978; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br /> directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the City <br /> of Boulder, the Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County, <br /> and the Federal Emergency Management Agency . <br /> C E R T I F I C A T E <br /> I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a <br /> resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the <br /> Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br /> Denver, Colorado , on the 5th day of May, 1983 , at which a quorum <br /> was present. <br /> J .
