41
0
0
n
Mendenhall, to see whether I understand the purpose of
your motion?
MR. MENDENHALL: Yes. Z
CHAIRMAN KRAMER: I understand the motion to be that
n
the pattern or the basis of the Mendenhall-Leavitt interim
operating agreement be used. It seems to me that the ques-
tion that Mr. Knapp raises as to whether the quantities
stated therein are to be used answers itself, in that that
agreement was drawn for a reservoir with 100,000 acre feet
capacity at the time, and that naturally the quantities there
stated in the interim agreements wouldn' t be applicable to a
permanent compact based on the completed reservoir.
MR. MENDENHALL: Well, we have developed when there
was to be more than 100,000 feet.
CHAIRMAN KRAMER: Yes, but you based it on the uncom-
pleted Caddoa Reservoir. In other words, my understanding--
and I am merely echoing Mr. Knapp' s question by stating my
own understanding--is that it is based on not necessarily
the specific percentage--
Mk. IItELAND: Translated into percentages.
CHAIRMAN KRAMER: But not absolute quantities.
MR. KNAPP: My question was also going to percentages.
There is mind of a formula for operating.
MR. MENDENHALL: It was my intent as I made the mo-
tion to cover all quantities impounded there.
