As a result of that Z <br /> correspondence arrangements have been made for the presence <br /> here of Mr. w'. W. Gatohell, of the legal staff of the <br /> Federal Power Commission. I am not submitting that detail- <br /> ed correspondence for the record, inasmuch as it relates <br /> only to the arrangements. <br /> At this juncture and in the regular course of busi- <br /> ness, are the reports of committees, and I would like to <br /> call first on the Committee on Legal Affairs. In doing that <br /> I have in mind focusing our attention this morning primarily <br /> on our forthcoming meeting with Mr. Gatehell. I think other <br /> matters will not concern us here, and the Federal Power Com- <br /> mission we can defer discussion on until we have definitely <br /> aligned our sights for the session with Mr. Gatohell. <br /> I will ask Mr. Vidal to give the report. <br /> MR. VIDAL: The Committee on Legal Affairs met on <br /> January 20 and on January 21, Monday and Tuesday of this week, <br /> at the office of Attorney General Arn, and gave considera- <br /> tion to what we should present in our interview with Mr. <br /> Gatohell of the Federal Power Commission. <br /> We gave consideration to a proposed clause for the <br /> compact submitted at Denver on the 9th of January at the <br /> conference between General Kramer, Mr Knapp,, Mr. Ireland, <br />
