We discussed the details of <br /> that informally, and I see no point of cluttering up the <br /> record with additional discussion unless any member of the <br /> Commission wishes to do so. <br /> As the Representative of the United States, I would <br /> like to present for the record certain correspondence which <br /> has taken place since our last meeting. I offer this cor- <br /> respondence at this time merely as a formality for the record. <br /> Necessary action on these items I think will come at a more <br /> logical place later in our order of business. <br /> I have first a letter from the Office of the Chief <br /> of Engineers, dated 18 December, 1946, and ray reply thereto <br /> under date of December 23, 1946.
