The Compact Commission is favorable to mainte- <br /> 0 <br /> nance of a downstream borrow pit pool but considers <br /> the maintenance of a reservoir pool to be contrary to <br /> public interest. m <br /> 5. Mention of reimbursement and related matters <br /> is not relevant in view of the provisions of Section 8 <br /> of The Flood Control Act approved Deeaaber 22, 1944. <br /> 6. The pending Review Report on the Arkansas <br /> River should embrace : <br /> (a) increasing flood flow capacity of the <br /> channel below Caddoa by means of local levees <br /> and/or channel clearing as contemplated in <br /> Section 13 of the Flood Control Act approved <br /> July 24, 1946. <br /> (b) reducing sedimentation in Caddoa Reservoir <br /> by means of supplemental storage, e. g. on the <br /> Purgatoire River. <br /> CHAIRMAN KRAMER: You have heard the motion, gentlemen, <br /> by Mr. Vidal.
