The extremely <br /> flat grade of the ditch resulted in algae growth which reduced the flow carrying capacity of the <br /> ditch. The Delta and Grand Junction Offices of the Natural Resource Conservation Service <br /> designed the project that was constructed by K.C. Equipment and Construction Company of Delta, <br /> CO. The project was built in two phases commencing in September 1997 and was substantially <br /> completed in March 1999. <br /> Project Data <br /> Sponsor: Durkee Ditch Company, Inc.
