SPILLWAY/OUTLET REHAB. <br /> • <br /> The Concrete Stilling Basin and Outlet Pipe at the Bottom of the RCC Spillway <br /> Project Description <br /> 4111 This project is the result of the State Engineer's order to increase the spillway capacity of <br /> the Left Hand Valley Reservoir in order to comply with dam safety rules and regulations regarding <br /> downstream structures. The project includes the replacement of the current spillway with a larger <br /> roller compacted concrete (RCC) spillway and concrete stilling basin. Rocky Mountain <br /> Consultants of Longmont, CO completed the permitting process, design engineering and <br /> preparation of construction contract documents. The construction contract was awarded to Gears, <br /> Inc. of Crested Butte, CO., commenced September 1, 1998 and was completed in January 1999. <br /> Project Data <br /> Sponsor: Left Hand Ditch Company, Inc.
