The project included the installation of sheet piling <br /> and construction of a concrete toe wall. The project restores damage caused by the July 1997 <br /> Pawnee Creek flood and protects the benefit of irrigation water to about 10,000 acres of cropland. <br /> IThe project was designed by the NRCS, Sterling office and constructed by R&R International, Inc. <br /> of Denver. Construction commenced March 16, 1998 and was completed April 15, 1998.
