I <br /> i2.4 Emergency Infrastructure Repair Loan Account <br /> I In 1993 through HB 93-1273, the Legislature authorized the Board to set aside $2.0 <br /> million of Construction Fund money in an account reserved for emergency repair of <br /> water resources infrastructure systems to avoid potential economic losses. The money in <br /> I the account is continuously appropriated to the Board for immediate availability only for <br /> emergency repair of water storage systems or water distribution systems. The account is <br /> intended to provide flexibility for the Board to make funds available in a timely manner <br /> I in emergency situations. Section 12 of SB 97-008 effective May 21, 1997 directed the <br /> State Treasurer to transfer$960,000 or so much as necessary from unreserved cash in the <br /> Construction Fund to restore the balance in the account to $2,000,000. <br /> 11 The Board approved 3 loans in FY 94, 2 emergency loans in FY 95, no <br /> pP emergency g Y <br /> emergency loans in FY 96, 2 emergency loans in FY 97, 1 in FY 98, and 1 in FY 99. A <br /> I list of the 10 projects that have been authorized by the Board through the Emergency <br /> Infrastructure Repair Account is shown in the following table.
