2.13 Authorized Loans from the Construction Fund I
Pursuant to Section 37-60-122(1) (b), CRS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has

recommended annually, and the General Assembly has authorized, loans from the Construction
Fund. In FY 1998,the Board recommended twelve new loans from the Construction Fund totaling$13.5

million as shown in the following table. Each loan represents partial funding of the total cost of the
projects. The Board's recommendations for loans in 1998 were incorporated into House Bill 98-
1189 which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by Governor Romer on April 30, 1998.
