(1990 Repl.Vol.),which assigns to the State Engineer's Office the responsibility for <br /> determining the safe storage levels for all reservoirs in this state. Please review the enclosed <br /> reports and implement all recommendations. Sign,date,and return one copy(second page only) <br /> of each inspection report to this office,and retain the complete inspection reports for your files. <br /> Conditions at both dams are similar to those documented in the recent past. In addition to the <br /> items noted on the enclosed reports,items of particular concern include the following. <br /> Bull Creek#4 <br /> • The dam continues to deteriorate,with more evidence of slope movement,prevailing <br /> uplift pressures at the downstream toe,and additional erosion of the crest. I understand <br /> that you and your engineer are currently pursuing the required permits and funding for <br /> rehabilitation of the dam. I also understand that plans and specifications for the final <br /> rehabilitation design will be submitted to us for review this winter,with construction <br /> planned for the summer of 2007. Please keep me informed of your progress,and do not <br /> hesitate to call if I can be of any assistance. <br /> • Because of problems with the inflatable bladder in the outlet last spring,the reservoir <br /> level remained above the restricted level for more than 30 days. To avoid any similar <br /> problems and consequent violation of the restriction next spring,please do not attempt to <br />
