Reservoir Nos. 1,2 and 4,Water Division 5,Water District 72, Mesa County
Dear Mr. Martellaro and Mr. Henderson,
This letter provides a status report in compliance with the above Amended Stipulation and
Agreement. Item No. 4 of the Amended Stipulation and Item 8.b. of the original Stipulation
requires bi-monthly reports be submitted to the Division Engineer on progress made toward
fulfilling each step of the plan. The Stipulation outlines certain permitting and engineering
activities necessary to increase the storage capacity of Bull Creek Reservoirs Nos. 1, 2 and 4
to allow for storage of the full decreed amount of the subject water rights.
The Protestant has retained our firm and requested we assist the Company in responding to
the Stipulation. Specific work and actions performed during the reporting period of
September-October 2004 includes:
- Obtained funding from the Colorado Water Conservation Board for final design and
construction.
- Continued work on geotechnical analysis.
- Continued preparing and Environment Assessment for the US Forest Service
- Continued work on wetlands submittal for the US Army Corp of Engineers
- Continued design engineering on all three reservoirs
