Emergency Loan Application and Feasibility Study Highland Ditch Company <br />Highland Ditch 1645 06/01/1878 06/02/1882 23.57 <br />Company's 6th <br />Enlargement <br />Project Description <br />Highland Ditch Company has hired a professional engineer for their projects and design services. <br />Highland is currently rebuilding the main diversion as Highland will start diverting water in just <br />four months. <br />Highland's Goals are 1) Main Diversion, 2) automatic headgate and SCADA System and 3) <br />Foothills Inlet and Outlet <br />Alternative 1 — Do Nothing: Failure to rebuild, restore and repair would result in abandonment of <br />the company's water rights, reservoirs and ditch. <br />Alternative 2 — Rebuilding Collaboratively with Improvements: <br />The new diversion headgates will help to better serves, support and supply multiple water <br />deliveries to its water users and the City of Longmont. For long -term changes and challenges. <br />Selected Alternative 3 — Main Diversion, Measuring Devices SCADA and Foothills Inlet & <br />Outlet. <br />New and professional engineered structures will allow for accurate and improved measurements, <br />and administration of the river, for agriculture water users and the City of Longmont. <br />Cost Estimate <br />The Preliminary Project Cost Estimate, provided by Contractor, Engineer and Company is as <br />follows: <br />1) Preliminary Cost Estimate other: such as Slit and Debris removal @ $55,000.00 <br />2) Preliminary Cost Estimate for Infrastructure and construction @ 1.8 million <br />3) Preliminary Cost Estimate for Engineering, which includes design and permitting <br />@ $125,000.00 <br />MAP <br />
