Section 5 FIVE Selection of Alternative and Financial Plan <br />5.1 ALTERNATIVE SELECTION <br />The spillway rehabilitation and internal seepage collection system was selected as the <br />preferred alternative for the Project. The preferred alternative were selected based on <br />constructability, costs, reliability, reduced impact to the environment, and provision for the <br />continued use of the asset (historic water yield). <br />5.2 LAND AND RIGHT-OF-WAY REQUIREMENTS <br />The construction of the Project will be performed on the lands owned by the SMRC. <br />5.3 PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE <br />The Project will be constructed during May through December 2014.
