Feasibility Study for the Plaza Project — Phase 2: McDonald Ditch Implementation Project <br />Section 8 - Project Budget and Schedule <br />8.1 Budget <br />Phase 2 will be funded with $295,000.00 from the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) <br />Water Supply Reserve Account (WSRA), $150,000 from the NRCS Environmental Quality <br />Incentives Program (EQIP), $50,000 from the Colorado Partnership Program (CPP), $200,000 <br />from the Cooperative Conservation Partnership Initiative (CCPI) Program, $70,000 from <br />Landowners (CWCB loan), $1o,000 from Rio Grande County, and $133,000 from in -kind services. <br />Total estimated project cost is $9o8,000.00. The 1% loan origination fee is not included in the <br />budget. A complete budget with expenses broken down by task, timing, and source of funds is <br />attached in Appendix A. <br />8.2 Project Schedule <br />Preliminary designs for the McDD headgate and diversion, streambanks, and wetland were <br />developed by the NRCS in Phase 1. Currently, project engineers will fmalize the design for each of <br />the project elements. Phase 2 will be a three -year project with execution of designs in years 1 and 2, <br />and monitoring in years 2 and 3. A complete milestone table is attached in Appendix B. <br />21 <br />
