has now sold this share to another water user. The HOA has leased 0.5 to 1.0 FHL share
since 2000 from the same family now offering to sell 2.0 FHL shares to the HOA. The
1.0 share will likely be sold to another buyer if the HOA does not buy the 2.0 shares of
which it is a part.
The future effect of the HOA losing the use of the additional leased water can be
illustrated by comparing what the deliveries to the Wadley Farms No. 3 headgate would
have been over the past few years with and without the water leases, as shown in Figure
11 and Table 8. "The average decrease in water yield for the HOA from 2003 to 2012
would have been 10.3% and would have ranged from 4.6%0' to 15.4% in reduced water
yield each year.
Figure 11: Wadley Farms No. 3 Headgate Deliveries without Leased Water
300
250
200
Y
d
1
150
u
to
100
50
Historic Deliveries at Wadley Farms No. 3 Headgate w/o Leased Water
2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012
Year
w /leased water w/3 shares only
Table 8: Wadley Farms No. 3 Headgate Deliveries without Leased Water
Year
% decrease
Year
% decrease
2003
4.6%
2008
9.6%
2004
8.9%
2009
8.5%
2005
9.1%
2010
13.5%
2006
13.3%
1 — 9.2%
2011
15.4%
11.0%
2007
1 2012
Avg.
10.3%
Wadley Farms No. 3 Water Supply CWCB Loan Feasibility Study Page 22
