A
summary of total diversions at the FHL headgate from 1950 to 2012 is included in
Appendix D. Total diversions to storage
reservoirs fed by the FHL Canal were recorded separately from 1970 to 1975 and again
from 1980 to 1987, but storage diversions have typically occurred every year even when
not tabulated separately. The Bishop - Brogden report references documentation regarding
the historic practice of the FHL Company of running water into the small reservoirs
owned by individual shareholders in the late fall after direct irrigation demands ended
and in the early spring before the end of April and prior to the beginning of direct
irrigation demands. Beginning about May, all FHL diversions were generally divided
among shareholders based on pro -rata share ownership for direct irrigation use.
Wadley Farms No. 3 Water Supply CWCB Loan Feasibility Study Page 11
