(Please include county, and approximate distance and direction <br />from nearest town, as well as legal description, if known. <br />The Project lies within both Hinsdale and Mineral Counties about 23 miles southwest of the town <br />of Creede. Legal Description of the Project Area: The inlet ditch to Santa Maria Reservoir from <br />North Clear Creek diverts from North Clear Creek about 5,398 feet from the SE 1/4 of Section 1, <br />Township 41 North, Range 3 West, N.M.P.M.. Continental Reservoir is located in Section 21, 28, <br />and 29 of the Township 42 North, Range 3 West of the N.M.P.M.., with its outlet works located in <br />the SW 1/4 of Section 21, Township 42 North, Range 3 West, N.M.P.M in Hinsdale County, at a <br />point whence the SW corner is said Section 21 bears approximately South 84° West a distance of <br />1,500 feet. <br />5. Please provide a brief narrative description of the proposed project including purpose, need, <br />facilities, type of water uses to be served and service area.
