It is a member owned organization with <br /> 321 member wells located from Leadville to Las Animas. The primary use of water by <br /> members is for agriculture but there are also commercial,municipal,domestic, and <br /> industrial uses. In addition to providing water for its members,AGUA also provides <br /> augmentation water for gravel pits and several substitute water supply plans. <br /> AGUA is governed by a Board of Directors that is elected by the membership at annual <br /> shareholder meetings. <br /> The current list of Directors is: <br /> • Scott Brazil—President <br /> • Keith Beattie—Vice-President <br /> • John Sliman—Secretary/Treasurer <br /> • Dr.Charles Durbin—Director <br /> • Sam Fosdick—Director <br /> Bill Lamorris—Booth/Orchard representative <br /> • Terry Shaw—MAGUA representative <br />
