Mesa Water Company for the benefit of the shareholders by providing irrigation water from the <br />Crystal River, <br />The East Mesa Ditch has a tunnel that is about 700 feet long that is collapsing as well as a section of <br />ditch that is on a very steep hillside and slides and catches much debris and rock. The East Mesa <br />Water Company wants to install a HDPE plastic pipeline to make a permanent fix of this section. <br />Proposed work will take place in the fall and winter of 2013 while the ditch is not in use. <br />The proposal is to pipe the 1450 ft. to bypass the existing tunnel. The new route will provide a <br />stable base and prevent future lose of use of the water due to ditch and tunnel failure. <br />6. Will the acquisition of additional water rights be necessary?
