TASK 2 — Canal Improvements <br />Description of Task <br />This task includes mobilization, site preparation work, erosion control, dewatering, clearing and <br />grubbing, stripping and stockpiling topsoil, selective demolition, 42 -inch bypass pipe, concrete <br />encasement construction, rock excavation/fill, concrete canal liner, riprap and bedding <br />installation, construction of concrete check structures, reclamation of disturbed areas, and <br />includes permitting, admin and engineering during construction. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Santa Maria Reservoir Company will solicit proposals for construction of the siphon support <br />system stabilization and enter into a construction services contract. <br />Deliverable <br />Completed improvements. As -built drawings. <br />REPORTING AND FINAL DELIVERABLE <br />Reporting: The applicant shall provide the CWCB a progress report every 6 months, beginning from <br />the date of the executed contract. The progress report shall describe the completion or partial <br />completion of the tasks identified in the statement of work including a description of any major issues <br />that have occurred and any corrective action taken to address these issues. <br />Final Deliverable: At completion of the project, the applicant shall provide the CWCB a final report <br />that summarizes the project and documents how the project was completed. This report may contain <br />photographs, summaries of meetings and engineering reports /designs. <br />
