C. S LMMM V OF THE FEASOREiY AND NESIXTS OF TIE PROMECT
The Summary of the costs, which are referenced on the Summary of the Faiancials as they relate to
Peak Reservoir are outside the scope of the budget that was generated when the project began. There
is a conditional Transfer Decree of 30 acre fleet of water from the Conditional Decree currently held by
the District. Having already spent $ 290.911 on the Peak Reservow, the feasibility for storing 30 we feet
is a per acre foot cost that could be considered high for this area The storage of 8000+ yards of dam
construction material at Military Park Gravel Pit at a estimate value of 5114.000 reduces the overall
costs to a moderate level.
The Blanche Park Reservoir will require appro onsately 2000 yards of material from irnventwy The
process to rebuild Blanche Part invokes removing the erostirhg dam, building a suitable core and
Ong a new outlet pipe, valve, and won equipment. The material from the P, -4 dam
will be replaced according to compaction spec- The ehristing easement is large enough for a 12S acre
foot reservoir.
The rehabilitation of these two reservoirs will add 1SS acre feet to the inventory of impounded water
that will be available to the agricultural users to assist in meeting the huge deficit among the agricultural
users in the Surface Creek Valley.
In addition to the1SS acre feet of water available is approodnaeehl 6000 yards of material will be
available to rebuild other reservoirs for the District or it would be available to purchase in an area where
there is no available material to repair or rehabTitm a reservoirs.
I7
