We have sent you Sections 2.1 -2.3 (Availability of Water From Lake Nighthorse, <br />Updated Capital Costs, and Updated OM &R Costs) for review. We will send 2.4 (Repayment <br />Alternatives) next week. <br />b. We will send you Section 3 (3.1, Refined Municipal and Industrial Water Demand <br />Estimates, and 3.2, Additional Potential Water Demands) starting this week and ending <br />next week for your review. <br />2. Section 4: Legal Issues: <br />a. We have a draft which more or less lists the issues from a non - lawyer's perspective. <br />There are holes in it that must be filled with information from the Colorado AG. Is the AG <br />going to review and approve this? What is the process for review? <br />b. We can get you the "Engineer's Draft, i.e. not reviewed by the AG, next week for your <br />review. /������ <br />3. Section 5: A -LP Marketing Programs to Increase Sales of State A -L Water <br />a. Section 5.1: Alternative for Leasing if State Water Reverts to Tribes. Completion of this <br />section is dependent on Alex Davis' September 8 meeting with the Tribes. We are trying to <br />eSchedule a me ting w. h Alex for September 17 to get results. <br />b. Section 5.2: Municipal Water Supply Purchasers Assistance Program to Assist CWCB in <br />Marketing State's A -LP Water. <br />i. We would like to get from you today all of the Federal, State, local and other <br />programs of which you are aware that can assist potential purchasers to divert, <br />convey, treat, distribute or otherwise use their A -LP water for municipal purposes. <br />We will then do some additional research and turn this into a Purchaser's <br />Assistance Program. We will attempt to get you a draft by the end of next week. <br />c. Section 5.3: Marketing Programs to Sell A -LP Water to Entities for Purposes in Addition <br />to Municipal Water Supply <br />i. Can we get an item on to Alex Davis' September 8 meeting with the Tribes to <br />discuss how the Tribes feel about broadening project purposes to include irrigation <br />use? <br />ii. Should the general approach to this section be to show that the SWSI agricultural <br />irrigation demands could be met/partially met if the project purposes were <br />broadened to include irrigation? <br />4. Other items for discussion <br />5.
