PCC Meeting — October 05, 2010 <br />Version: October 5, 2010 <br />2. To avoid hurdles, ALPWCD could enter into a contract with BOR for planning, <br />development and operations. <br />3. With contract, BOR would have authority to add money for planning. <br />B. ALPWCD trying to obtain a grant for master planning <br />1. $50,000 raised so far. <br />2. Need $250,000 total for the master plan. <br />3. Possibility for matching grant from Park Service. <br />4. ALPWD would like ideas for funding the gaps. <br />C. Baseball fields <br />1. Proposal for two fields submitted. <br />2. ALPWCD stated it is fine to move forward <br />3. Insurance and lease agreement need to be in place <br />a. This is in planning <br />D. BOR has received two calls from interested parties in marina operations <br />1. Passed along to ALPWCD <br />E. BOR in discussions with CDOW to manage the area north of CR210, this area is the land <br />uphill from the reservoir. <br />XIV. Cultural Resources <br />A. SWCA and UMUIT are to provide a management plan for basin <br />1. Finished and will send a copy to sponsors <br />2. As recreation plan is not complete, the plan includes current uses and will need to be <br />amended in the future to include recreation planning. <br />3. Same thought applies to mitigation plan. <br />B. Letter coming asking about distribution of publication and additional copies. <br />1. Will be published with soft covers <br />2.
