The outlet works on Dam No. 1 <br />will release 40 c.f.s. of water and are located at a point from <br />whence the.Northwest corner of Section 4, Township 35 North, Range 9 <br />West, N.M.P.M., bears North 35 0211 west, a distance of 2,210 feet. <br />The outlet works on Dam No. 2 will release 40 c.f.s. of water and <br />are located at a ]point from whence the Northeast corner of Section 5, <br />Township 35 North, Range 9 West, N.M.P.M.,.bears North 59 0561 East, <br />a distance of 4,250 feet. Water stored in,the eeservoir.will be used <br />for municipal, industrial and miscellaneous purposes in the City of <br />Durango. Facilities to convey the stored water to place of use <br />will be construcbed. <br />e. FALLS CREEK DIVERSION DAM AND CANAL—The diversion dam <br />is located Qn Falls Creek about 1.7 miles north of the Animas Mountain <br />Reservoir. It is a 25 feet long concrete structure with a short earth <br />dike and will divert water,from Falls Creek to the Falls Creek Canal. <br />The diversion.is located at a point from whence the.Southwest corner of <br />Section 21, Township 36 North, Range 9 West, N.M.P.M., bears South <br />450501 West, a distance of 1,050 feet. The Falls Creek Canal will <br />be 1.7 miles in length and will have a capacity of 60 c.f.s. The <br />sources of water is Falls Creek which will be transported to Animas <br />Mountain-Reservoir for municipal, industrial and miscellaneous <br />purposes in the City of Durango. <br />f. JUNCTION CREEK DIVERSION DAM AND PIPELINE. The diversion <br />dam will be a 40 foot long concrete gravity overflow spillway section <br />with a gated sluiceway, intake structure and concrete walls to the <br />edge of the canyon. The diversion is located at a point from whence <br />the Southwest corner of Section 31, Township 36 North, Range 9 West, <br />N.M.P.M., bears North 51 015' East, a distance of 2,200 feet. The <br />Junction Creek Pipeline will be constructed of concrete pressure <br />pipe with a capacity of 100 c.f.s and will extend 2.3 miles from the <br />diversion darn to the Animas `fountain Reservoir.
