4. TERM OF CONTRACT
This Contract shall become effective upon the date of execution by the Parties, and shall
remain in full force and effect until terminated by mutual written agreement of Western,
Reclamation, and the Association, unless terminated pursuant to Article 11 of the OM &R
Contract. Initial service under this Contract will begin on the first day of the first month
following assumption of the responsibility for operation and maintenance of the Project
facilities through Reclamation's transfer process as outlined in Section 5 of Contract
No. 10 -WC -40 -370.
5. DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of this Contract:
flfl W 5.1 Summer Season is the 6 -month period from the first day of the April billing

period through the last day of the September billing period of any calendar year.
5.2 Runoff Period shall mean the specific period within the Summer Season as
defined in Exhibit A. The duration of the Runoff Period shall be modified from
time to time by the Parties in successive revisions of Exhibit A to specifically
meet the Contractor's actual requirements.
5.3 Non - Runoff Period shall mean the specific period within the Summer and Winter
