For trial 3, a total of 13 fathead minnows were found alive immediately after sleeve valve
passage where all 13 were collected in the entrainment nets. Six FHM died at 24 hrs (51, 46, 34,
50, 49, 46 mm), 1 died at 48 hrs (50 mm), 4 died at 72 hrs (41, 49, 28, 28 mm). Two FHM (48,
50 mm) survived past 96 hrs and in were swimming well and in good external condition.
For trial 4, a total of 9 fathead minnows were found alive immediately after sleeve valve passage
where all 9 were collected in the entrainment nets. Five FHM died at 24 hrs (52, 47, 37, 31, 40
mm), 1 died at 72 hrs (55 mm) and 1 died at 96 hrs (56 mm). Two survived past 96 hrs (53, 55
mm) and were swimming well and in good external condition.
For trial 5, a total of 15 fathead minnows were found alive rnrtiediately after sleeve valve
passage where all 12 were collected in the entrainment nets and - iii:the spillway. Two FHM
died at 24 hrs (47, 48 mm), 7 died at 72 hrs (53, 47, 44; 51, 43, 38, and >50). Six survive past 96
hrs (50, 45, 46, 42, 49, 49 mm) in were in good -vernal condition.
swimming well and in good external condition.
For the 10 replicates performed at the reservoir elevation of 6805 ft, 1,998 live fathead minnows
(50 mm mean TL) were injected into the discharge pipe. Eighty -two FHM were alive
immediately after sleeve valve passage (4.104 percent) ranging between 2 and 15 fish per trial
(figure 28). Twenty -two FHM survived beyond 96 hrs (1.101 percent) and ranged between 1
and 6 fish per trial (figure 29). A total of 10 FHM were collected from the 25 percent open flush
