Add -ins check box should now appear in the Add -Ins dialog box. Actuate the ODBC Add - <br />Ins check box. Press <OK>. If the file c:�exceNibrary\ squery\xlodbc.xlo is not present <br />Excel must be re- installed to include its ODBC capabilities. <br />6. While still in Excel, again select <Add- Ins ... > from the <Tools> menubar. In the Add -Ins <br />dialog box actuate the check box labeled Analysis Toolpack and Analysis Toolpack -VBA <br />Add -Ins. If either of these Add -In check boxes do not appear as an option in the Add -Ins <br />dialog box Excel must be re- installed to include these ' Toolpack' capabilities. <br />Installation is now complete. To start the Querying and Charting Software, simply double -click <br />on the icon titled 'South Platte Flow /Gain Charting' located in the 'NCWCD' Windows Program <br />Group. <br />USING THE QUERYING AND CHARTING SOFTWARE <br />Upon starting the Querying and Charting Software (accomplished by double - clicking on the 'S. <br />P. Querying & Charting' icon within the Window's Program Manager) a dialog box consisting of <br />five options and corresponding option buttons appears (this dialog box is referred to as the <br />startup dialog box). The startup dialog box is illustrated in Figure 6 below. <br />Figure 6 - Startup dialog box. <br />Only one of the five options presented in the startup dialog box can be actuated at any time. An <br />option is actuated by placing the mouse pointer over the associated option button and depressing <br />the left mouse button. The option button is selected when it becomes shaded.
