POINT FLOW SOFTWARE AND ITS OPERATION
The Point Flow Software computes all subreach gains and nodal river flows as defined by a
Control Table and Historical Data Table(s). Following are instruction regarding the computer
installation of the Point Flow Software (named pointflo.prg) and steps to assist user's during its
operation. The Point Flow Software is written in Microsoft's FoxPro language. A hard copy of
the Point Flow Software code as it was written for the Lower South Platte River in Colorado is
located in Appendix IV.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
At the present time the Point Flow Software is not entirely user - friendly, and therefore not
included. It is our intention to enhance the existing version in the near future and include it within
forthcoming versions. This enhanced version will allow a point flow analysis to be performed on
other water districts and river reaches besides just that of the Lower South Platte River. To this
end, the Installation Instructions are not included in this User's Guide. Moreover, the following
section entitled 'Using the Point Flow Software' will remain incomplete until such software is
released.
USING THE POINT FLOW SOFTWARE
(incomplete section)
29 ptflguid.wpd
