Arkansas River Boat Chute at the Mt. Shavano Fish Hatchery, Colorado Division of Wildlife, <br />1986 -1987: This assignment included final design, implementation, and coordination of State <br />and local agencies. Related boating access improvements were also included in this project. <br />Boat Landing and Pocket Park, Salida, Colorado, 1986 -1987: Design engineer and project <br />manager for an in -town river boat landing and mini whitewater park on the Arkansas River. The <br />project was built with a grant from the Coors Company. <br />Whitewater Boating Bypass, Colorado Water Conservation Board, 1985 -1989: Whitewater <br />boating designer for the $1 million whitewater boating bypass project on the South Platte River <br />at Union Avenue. This assignment included performance of alternatives evaluation, design, and <br />obtaining approvals from many jurisdictions. <br />South Platte River Master Plan, Urban Drainage District, 1983: This project included resource <br />inventory, soliciting input from various agencies, interest groups, municipalities, and citizens; <br />formulating plans and preliminary designs for parks, natural areas, bike and pedestrian paths, <br />access points, river improvements, and fish- wildlife habitat improvements; producing cost <br />estimates for each phase; recommendations for maintenance programs; and conducting public <br />presentations for the project. <br />Miscellaneous Boat Chutes, Denver, Colorado, 1983 -1987: Designed and model- tested safety <br />improvements installed in the Platte River -3rd Avenue Dam boating bypass structures. <br />-20- <br />
